Ok, I tried to get some stuff repaired. but it appeared that it was a .dll file being part of a crack app version. Windows 7 did not allow it to get repaired. As far as I'm concerned Rar Repair worked fine, but it was not appropriate to use the outcoming result. The file was only partially succesfully repaired by the way... But I concider it due to the OS security

I have tried it on 2 crc failed rar's and while it said it would repair them and then said it did, neither were able to be run on any media software.
Any ideas?

very sneaky the way they get you to download it, then dont give you ANY idea of what it can actually do, you have to pay to see if you like what it does.
i suggest limiting the application to one use, THEN you have to buy it... that way you can see how it works, how long it takes, and the end result, etc.

first a all out of my 2GB material 1 am able to see only the name of a single pdf file.
and in demo version atleast you should provide thumbnail view.

The program could not solve my problem. The fixing process was not so intuitive.
I was quite disappointed to find that I must buy the product before my first use. It should prove itself before I pay money.

Hi I did try this to fix a RAR file but I don't much experience on computers and I could not repair it but still have the exe and I uninstalled it, I don't think it installed properly or it could not do the job more likely just too inexperienced.

Tool is nice to show the content of rar file. but it's not recovering all files. Showing some file are not even recoverable and some as partially recoverable. what to do with those things. so it's not repairing fully. so i uninstalled it.

I D/L'd this in order to repair a .rar file, but the repair failed. Maybie the programmes fault, maybie the file was un-repairable, i couldnt tell as the demo version does not let you access the recovered file anyway...

 Rar Repair Tool
The tool did not recover all of the complete Rar-archives which had a CRC-error, but did seem to do more than 7-Zip.
However, the price of the tool is more than I am prepared to pay for a partial solution.

I'd like to get at least one free try and see the real result, rather than getting a message telling you, it looks like we can recover the .rar but you got to buy if you want to get the recovered file, when in fact without seeing the recovered file you don't know exactly if it works

The software is POOR
Rar Repair tool 3 is a software that I would rate 0/10 coz. it does not work!
I had a multivolume archive, of which part 1 was 700 MB and part 2 was 29 MB.
The two volumes consisted of just one file. A DivX (AVI) video. When I tried to extract the volumes, WinRAR gave me the message: CRC failed in the file... whatever. The software i.e. Rar Repair tool 3 gave me the message that the volumes have been successfully repaired, but it was not so. When I extracted the archives, the error persisted. I could not even view a fraction of the video. The error appeared when extraction process was at 96%.
I'd like to say that this software does not work (at least it didnot work for me).

It is useless for evaluation as it can only deal with a small file of 6mb.
